Notice is hereby given that West Sound Utility District (District) under RCW 57.08.050(2) is securing bids for a Sewer Main Relining Project utilizing Small Works Contract Procedures per RCW 39.04.155 and will be soliciting for telephone, written, or electronic quotations invited from at least five contractors on the MRSC Rosters who have indicated the capability of performing the kind of work being contracted. 

The Project consists of traffic control, cleaning, televising and installing 1,043 ft. of 15 inch CIPP liners in 4 separate sections. Hydrophilic end seals, removing 3 protruding laterals, cut out of bad liner, reinstating 4 service laterals, sewer by pass pumping, full rehabilitation of 5 manholes and installation of flow through liners in 2 other manholes that will also require bypass pumping.

Bids will be received by the West Sound Utility District, 2924 SE Lund Avenue, Port Orchard, Washington, 98366, from all qualified contractors on the MRSC Roster until 10:00 am local time on March 21, 2022, for work activities associated with the Sewer Main Relining Project.  Contact Mr. John Tapia, WSUD Operations Manager, with questions on this Project. The cost estimate for this project is less than $350,000.00 including sales tax.

The project is scheduled to begin on or after April 5, 2022 and completed by June 30, 2022.

Notice is given to all potential bidders that any bid responses may be subject to release under the Public Records Act Chapter 42.56 RCW and the District may be required to disclose bid responses upon a request. Bidders are advised to mark any records believed to be trade secrets or confidential in nature as "confidential." If records marked as "confidential" are found to be responsive to the request for records, the District may elect to give notice to the bidder of the request so as to allow the bidder to seek a protective order from a Court. Please be advised, however, that any records deemed responsive to a public records request may be released at the sole discretion of, and without notice by, the District.
