WSUD 2023 Water System Plan

One of the missions of West Sound Utility District is to provide and protect healthy drinking water for the community. To make sure that the Water Utility continues to meet its mission, the Water Utility has updated its Water System Plan.

The Water System Plan is a comprehensive plan to evaluate the existing water system, consider the future demands, and to determine necessary improvements. Statutory authority is contained in WAC Chapter 246-290-100, Chapter 246-293-250, and Chapter 246-295.

The 2023 Water System Plan demonstrates to the State Regulatory Agency, Washington State Department of Health, that we have the operational, technical, managerial, and financial capacity to achieve and maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations now and into the future on behalf of our customers.
